New Web site manager at Macmillan Cancer Relief

Macmillan Cancer Relief is aiming to improve its use of new media with the appointment of a new Web site Manager.

Samantha Fanning joins the charity from professional services firm, Deloitte & Touche, where she introduced a number of key new media projects to help the organisation communicate more effectively with its audiences.

A journalist and editor, Samantha regularly speaks at knowledge management seminars and events on communications topics, and is a guest lecturer on University College Dublin’s e-commerce masters programme.

Based at Macmillan’s UK Office in London, Samantha said: “The Web offers people affected by cancer, as well as health professionals working in the sector, an additional way to empower themselves with information.”
