Welsh Funding guide published
The Directory of Social Change has published “The Welsh Funding Guide” by Alan French, John Smyth, and Tom Traynor.
The new guide is published in an English and Welsh edition. It contains details of funding from a wealth of sources, including:
- 90 grantmaking trusts that give a combined annual grant total of more than
£16 million to Welsh voluntary organisations. - 36 companies, who between them have give Welsh causes over £2.9 million in cash donations and £4.1 million in community contributions.
- the five National Lottery Distribution Boards and their joint programmes,
which gave a total of £87 million in 2002 to organisations benefiting Wales. - Government sources, covering Welsh Assembly divisions, ASPBs and other
related funds, are able to give more than £50 million throughout Wales. - funding available to Wales from the Structural Funds and budget lines of the European Union.
- a variety of charitable, statutory and other funding schemes managed by Wales Council for Voluntary Action.
