Howard Lake | 15 August 2003 | News

Muslims’ philanthropy is to be studied in six countries including the UK.

Researchers at The Centre for the Study of Islam at the University of Glasgow will examine British Muslims’ attitudes to charitable giving as part of an international research project. Other countries participating are Indonesia, India, Turkey, Egypt and Tanzania.

The research is being funded by the Ford Foundation in New York.
