PKF boosts London charity and housing team

Rupert Moyle has joined the VAT team at accountants and business advisors PKF. He brings specialist knowledge of the registered social landlords and charity sectors.

Rupert joins PKF as VAT manager and is based at the firm’s London head office, where he will work with clients in the charity/housing sectors on all issues related to indirect tax. PKF has 400 clients in these sectors.

He previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers for five years, focusing on housing/charity clients, in particular registered social landlords, and was the firm’s National Housing Sector specialist. His client portfolio included the Peabody Trust, the Anchor Trust and the Look Ahead Housing and Care Ltd, the latter of which he led to a successful VAT Tribunal appeal in 2002. Rupert also worked with many charities including the Royal British Legion Industries.

Rupert’s experience includes working with Customs & Excise on exemption methods, delivering bespoke training courses, input tax reclaims, VAT relief and mixed property development issues. Rupert also worked for Customs & Excise for eight years.
