Foresters Big Toddle for Barnardo’s was launched today.

The Foresters Big Toddle For Barnardo’s involves over 100,000 children aged 0 to five years walking half a mile to raise
money for other children in the UK. The children will ‘toddle’ all over the
country through 23 organised toddles taking place in June.

Parent celebrities involved at the launch included Toddle patron TV presenter Fiona Philips, actor Colin Salmon, TV presenter Sidney Sloane, and radio and TV presenters Eleanor Oldroyd and Nick Mullins.

Preschools, playgroups and nurseries are being invited to join in the fun by organising their own sponsored half mile walk in a bid to beat last year’s total of £830,000 raised to help disadvantaged children and local community groups.

Those who choose to arrange their own Toddle rather than join in one of the 23 organised events get to keep 25% of the sponsorship money for their own group or local good cause with the rest going towards Barnardo’s.

The Toddles are supported by Foresters, an international membership and financial services organisation committed to helping charities and local projects.
