32 City institutions raise funds with charity rugby tournament

Leading City companies played in the 31st annual S.P.A.R.K.S. rugby tournament
at Richmond this weekend sponsored by Mako.
Mako Global (“Mako”), a leading European derivatives trading house, was the
sponsor behind this year’s S.P.A.R.K.S. City Sevens Rugby tournament that took place yesterday. The tournament is in its 31st year and 32 City-based institutions competed for the S.P.A.R.K.S City Sevens Rugby Cup.
The Cup winners were Dresdner KW scoring 32 / 14 against PricewaterhouseCoopers and the winners of The Plate were CSFB scoring 19 / 5 against BNP Paribas.

S.P.A.R.K.S. (SPort aiding medical Research for KidS) is a children’s
charity dedicated to giving every child the chance of a healthy start in
life. The charity received over £10,000 from the event.
