Practical Guide to Charity Accounting

Howard Lake | 3 April 2003 | News

The Directory of Social Change has published “A Practical Guide to Charity Accounting: preparing charity SORP accounts”, edited by Kate Sayer.

Written by a team of accountants specialising in charities and not-for-profit organisations, it aims to demystify charity accounting, using case studies and sample accounts to guide you through the accounting and reporting procedures required by the SORP.

It is designed for experienced charity accountants and finance managers as well as those new to the sector; charity trustees, particularly treasurers, and chief executives. It replaces DSC’s publication, “A Practical Guide to Accounting by Charities.”
