BBC TV series on working in the community
BBC TV and the Media Trust’s Working in the Community season gets underway this month.
The series covers key aspects of working in the voluntary sector from communication and management skills to diversity issues, team leadership and health and safety matters.
The new series challenges the voluntary sector to improve its communication skills. The Interview follows Soo Nevison from Multiple Choice, a drug rehabilitation charity in Leeds, as she works to overcome her fear of interviews. Through intensive training and with a tight deadline, Soo is set the challenge of doing a live TV interview. What to say, how to say it and how to look are all part of the makeover.
