Howard Lake | 6 March 2003 | News

Drinks company Diageo Great Britain is encouraging local charities and community groups in the Daventry and Park Royal areas, where the company is based, to apply for their new Community Enterprise Awards.

The awards will offer grants of between £500 and £5,000 to organisations focused on regeneration, local enterprise and generating employment, as well as projects that offer support and opportunities for local people to realise their potential and change their lives in a positive way.

Nicole Lovett, Corporate Citizenship Manager for Diageo Great Britain, said: “We hope to not only continue this initiative each year in the Park Royal and Daventry area but also roll it out nationally.”
