International Gift Planning Alliance formed

Three national bodies that promote planned giving are to collaborate to create an international organisation dedicated to promoting planned giving.
In an effort to encourage charitable gift planning worldwide, the U.S.-based National Committee on Planned Giving (NCPG), The European Association for Planned Giving (EAPG) and The Canadian Association of Gift Planners * Association Canadienne des Professionnels en Dons Planifiés (CAGP*ACPDP„¢) have united to create the International Gift Planning Alliance.
The new organisation will work advance the mission of each gift planning association through shared knowledge, efficiencies, services and strength. The purpose of the Alliance is to create an effective and pro-active link between charitable gift planners worldwide and increase collaboration on international charitable giving issues.
