Free Web site audit for 15 UK-based charities

Howard Lake | 2 October 2002 | News

AbilityNet and Abbey National are offering Web site audits free of charge to 15 UK-based charities.

The audit is designed to highlight the key accessibility issues that would otherwise prevent easy access for those with a range of disabilities including visual impairment, dyslexia and keyboard and mouse difficulties.

All applicants for the free audits, whether successful or not, will receive a free “Key Website Accessibility Guide” information pack that will include information on accessible Web design, including examples of good practice and useful hints and tips based on AbilityNet’s extensive experience in this area.
