If you deal with titled patrons or donors, then you need to know how to address them correctly.

[Debrett's Correct Form - book cover]How do you write to a Lord Mayor to invite him or her to an event? How do you thank a Lord Lieutenant for his donation to your charity? If introducing a bishop to a Duke at a meeting of your patrons, what terms of address would you use?

This might not be the world your charity operates in, but for many charities it is important to get these forms of address right. The standard guide to correct use in this regard is “Debrett’s Correct Form”, and a new edition is out in November in paperback.
