Survey finds fundraisers disatisfied with fundraising software

Howard Lake | 19 June 2002 | News

A survey by IT specialists Tate Bramald has confirmed that fundraisers are not satisfied with the fundraising software on offer to them.

The survey reported that there are over 100 fundraising software systems in use in the UK, leading to an “immature market.” The 51 respondents to the questionnaire used 14 different packages.

Fewer than one third of them would recommend their fundraising package to another fundraiser. The key issues for fundraisers were the lack of integration capabilities with other systems and the lack of reporting capabilities.
