Fair share funds extends to disadvantaged areas in England

Fifty one disadvantaged communities throughout England will today learn how much Lottery funding will be available to them through Fair share, the new scheme aimed at poorer parts of the country with a low track record in accessing Lottery funding.

Fair share, a partnership initiative by the Community Fund and the New Opportunities Fund, is now channelling more than £140 million into some of the most disadvantaged parts of England so that communities can access Lottery funding to help tackle local needs.
