Childline spends £400,000 on its Web site
Children’s charity Childline has spent £400,000 on its Web site, according to Revolution magazine.
Revolution magazine reports that Childline has spent £400,000 in redesigning its Web site. New features developed by agency KMS include a search facility that can interpret children’s slang and misspellings.
Childline recently appointed JD Carpientieri as its first Web editor. It launched its Web site in 1999, and it is now receiving “about 3,000 visitors a week.”
