The Institute of Charity Fundraising Managers is about to publish its first guidelines on fundraising using the Internet. UK Fundraising’s Howard Lake was part of the volunteer team that helped draw up these guidelines.

The guidelines are almost certainly the most comprehensive available from any national fundraising membership organisation in the world. The aggregation of professional, charity and Internet expertise under the auspices of ICFM, producing a freely available document, is a significant develop in online fundraising in the UK.
