Mike Deyes, Action Research’s New Media Officer, said: “Charities have been looking for ways to raise money online for some time with varied success. This application combines the benefits of e-business with an established and successful way of fundraising”.

He continued: “The individual fundraiser benefits from a extremely useful tool, which they can publicise widely, while Action Research will capture data and raise income. The application also takes advantage of Gift Aid”.

He added that the online sponsorship module was suitable for any fundraising event, large or small.
