The Scottish charity law review commission publishes its report today. As well as expanding and updating the definition of a Scottish charity, the report is also expected to recommend the creation of a Scottish charity commission.
The Scottish charity law review commission publishes its report today. As well as expanding and updating the definition of a Scottish charity, the report is also expected to recommend the creation of a Scottish charity commission.
The review could trigger positive changes outside Scotland: the commission’s two areas of focus, maintaining public confidence in charities and improving the accountability of the sector, are of equal relevance in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
