Association of Fundraising Professionals has global aims

The US Association of Fundraising Professionals is aiming to expand internationally.

The American Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), formerly the National Society of Fundraising Executives (NSFRE), has plans to develop internationally. Lindsay Boswell, Chief Executive of the Institute of Charity Fundraising Managers (ICFM), notes in his monthly column to members, that one of the key motivations for AFP in changing its name was to “make a concerted effort to globalise its operations.”
