Payroll giving company Caring Together has teamed up with online social marketplace company Smartchange to provide payroll giving services free of transaction fees.
Payroll giving company Caring Together has teamed up with online social marketplace company Smartchange to provide payroll giving services free of transaction fees.
Any charity registered on smartchange can now have payroll donations processed through Charity Direct without incurring the standard 5% commission per donation, or indeed any commission.

Caring Together’s nationwide network of payroll giving advisors will be available to Smartchange customers to encourage and inform employees of the benefits of donating to charity straight from their payroll. Smartchange, on the other hand, will provide the technology expertise and sales force to encourage companies to use the new service.
Employers will be able to use the Smartchange service to manage the company’s payroll giving scheme more efficiently, ensuring that charities receive funds faster, whilst also giving them a direct channel to communicate with employees.
