British adults are now third in Europe in terms of using the Internet from home.

British adults are now third in Europe in terms of using the Internet from home.

British adults now spend seven hours a month online at home, according to research by Jupiter MMXI. This represents an increase of 226% over the past nine months. There are now 13.46 million adults using the Web at home.

In Germany there are 12.28 million, but they use the Web more. They are online for an average of 13.6 hours each month.

Not surprisingly, Internet users like to be entertained: nearly 60% of UK users had visited an entertainment site in the previous nine months,and spent an average of 57 minutes there.
