The Lord Chancellor was criticised for the expense of redecorating his appartments in 1998 at a cost of £650,000 to the taxpayer.
The Lord Chancellor was criticised for the expense of redecorating his appartments in 1998 at a cost of £650,000 to the taxpayer. He has now announced that charities have benefited to the tune of £2m as a result of opening the appartments for fundraising events and guided tours.
