Direct e-mail "not as intrusive as you'd think"

UK Internet users are more open to receiving direct, unsolicited e-mail than you might think, according to the Henley Centre. Their report From teleculture to e-culture 2000 notes that 67% of people prefer to receive information from companies via e-mail, more than those who prefer to receive it by post. The report was commissioned by BT and Siemens.
