The Benton Foundation in the USA has added another case study to its “What’s Working” collection of stories about how charities are using the Internet. Consultant and strategist Michael Stein asks small, local non-profit Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Francisco and the Peninsula (BBBS) how it has used the Internet to raise $19,562 in six months. He also asks how they have used e-mail newsletters and online chat fora, how they have accepted online donations, and how they have evaluated their use of the Web.
