The Big Issue is running promotions with online marketplace Ciclops.com to raise funds.
A variety of advertisements appear in the printed magazine together with a URL and unique code. Advertisements cover CDs, flowers, underwear, TVs, art and other items. Readers are encouraged to login with the code and enjoy special deals.
The Big Issue will receive a percentage of each purchase made.

This is an unusual but welcome example of a non-profit integrating paper with the Web.
The promotion ends on 9 March 2001.
