UK leads European Internet penetration

Britons own more home PCs and access the Internet more than any other nation in Europe, according to BMRB’s TGI Europa report. Internet penetration in the UK is 28.8%, with 43.5% ownership of home PCs, compared to 18.3% and 32.5% in Germany. However, Britons spent less time online than their European counterparts.
