Camelot wins National Lottery licence

Camelot has won the second licence to run the UK’s National Lottery, beating Sir Richard Branson’s People’s Lottery. After a 4-1 decision by the commissioners, Hilary Blume, a commissioner from the charity sector, resigned in protest.
