The Guardian Online today looks at how e-millionaires are spending their time and money. The article concludes with a look at their charitable giving. It mentions the new rich at Cisco Systems, some of who have started private family foundations worth between $1m and $100m. Of course Bill Gates’ foundation gets a mention, but so too does QXL.com founder Tim Jackson. He is now concentrating on his “new venture capital role at Carlyle Internet Partners Europe and at a charitable foundation he is setting up.”
