The Institute of Charity Fundraising Managers is to enhance its six-month-old Web site to meet its members needs further. In a front-page article in this month’s member magazine Update, Chief Executive Lindsay Boswell explained that: “access [to the Web site ] will be via a front section that is dedicated to your local region… Both the Directory of Goods and Services and the Consultants Handbook are planned to appear online with enhanced search facilities.

A Members Only section will be created which will enable access to both information and benefits that will not be available to the public.”

Boswell also added that ICFM was already looking at “partnerships with other organisations to bring members specialised information.” These could include a management college and a “one-stop reference location for such subjects as data protection, tax changes, Codes of Practice and HR issues.”
