Online fundraising and personal privacy

Data protection issues are high on many UK fundraisers’ list of concerns, particularly with the new Data Protection Act’s implementation, but privacy issues with regard to online fundraising have not yet registered with many as a key concern. This is certainly not the case in the USA where online donors’ privacy concerns are already affecting legislation.
