Stephen Lee on virtual fundraising

Stephen Lee muses on Internet fundraising in this month’s Professional Fundraising magazine. Quite rightly he puts the Internet it context. “While donors, supporters and the public at large will clearly make use of the net in growing proportions, from a fundraising perspective it surely represents just one further communication mechanism at our disposal.”

However, his expectations are low. “For most of us the Web is unlikely to ‘transform’ our fundraising business and is perhaps best viewed as some form of interactive electronic magazine.”
