Charities are continuing the campaign to persuade the government to end their £400 million VAT burden for non-business activities.

Charities are continuing the campaign to persuade the government to end their £400 million VAT burden for non-business activities. According to a MORI poll for the Charities Tax Reform Group, 79% of adults believe that charities should be exempt from paying all VAT imposed by the government.
