Charity Know How, (which became Allavida in August 2001) the grant-making body for Central and Eastern Europe and the Newly Independent States, has featured UK Fundraising within its new Contact Finder service. UK Fundraising is one of nine sites selected that provide funding or funding information. It is in prestigious company: other sites listed include the European Foundation Centre, the Soros Foundations, and the European Union.

Contact Finder is designed to signpost organisations seeking contacts with other organisations working on specific issues or in specific countries.

Contact Finder will offer a step-by-step guide to seeking appropriate partners, looking at why partnerships – should be considered in the first place, the types of partners that should be sought and how they can be identified.
