A major multi-venue music event to raise funds for anti-poverty work is planned for 9 October.
A major multi-venue music event to raise funds for anti-poverty work is planned for 9 October. Organised by the United Nations Development Programme and Cisco Systems, the Internet company, TV viewers “will be able to use the Internet to pledge cash.” Major singing stars have been invited to perform at Net Aid, which will take place simultaneously in London, New York and Geneva.
