Although Mrs Hecksher had been a supporter of NCDL the charity had no idea that she planned to leave them a bequest.

The bequest coincides with the lanch of NCDL’s Web site, which was featured in The Daily Telegraph’s Connected. You can find out how to adopt a dog, sponsor a dog that is too traumatised to be adopted, and buy a variety of dog products.
