Yahoo! is running an online auction of Furby toys to raise funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. The furry toy was the most popular – or most unpopular (depending on how much you were exposed to its burblings) – toy of Christmas 1998. These aren’t any old Furbies though: the five lots include Furby no. 1 from this season’s production line.

You might recall that Yahoo! Auctions has already run an online auction for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Over Christmas the non-profit received $25,000 from a month-long auction of 1,000 Furbies on behalf of children’s charities.
