If you need US charity statistics then the National Center for Charitable Statistics has plenty of them.
The Center, a program of the Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy at the Urban Institute, is publishing a variety of nonprofit statistical information. This includes a database of 164,000 public charities that receive public support, detailing total expenses and total assets.
