Red Cross partners with Vaxhuall on Safety Net

Someone was going to come up with an online charity tie-in called Safety Net sooner or later, so the name of Vauxhall’s road safety site in collaboration with the British Red Cross will come as no surprise.

This example of corporate involvement demonstrates that charities should not work with companies online solely in terms of seeking sponsorship. Charities themselves often have compelling and unique content that can be provided and sold on to appropriate companies.

The opportunities for charities to raise funds by syndicating their Web content are clear.
