IntelNET offers some basic free advice for donors with regard to charity scams.

Send a blank e-mail message to PS******@in******.com and you will receive some (US-focused) free advice. This includes a list of typical scams and advice on whom to contact if you feel you have discovered a fraudulent charity.

It’s basic advice but a useful reminder to donors.
