POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director, Revenue Generation, the Senior Officer, Global Projects will work with National Societies to identify, develop and implement trans-national and global fundraising projects for the benefit of National Societies and through them the International Federation as a whole.

Responsibilities:
Collaborates closely with National Societies to identify successful fundraising programs that have global potential; undertakes research and establishes a network to enable the identification of new and innovative fundraising projects; works with National Societies to implement projects that have received the necessary approvals; collaborates closely with Secretariat departments to understand the funding needs of the International Federation including its National Societies; develops, implements and coordinates Federation global sponsorship programmes including the development of necessary policies and procedures; develops, implements and coordinates the International Federation grants program, particularly from international Foundations, in collaboration with National Societies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A university degree and 5-10 years of experience at the senior fundraising level in an international organization , or one of it’s national affiliates, is required. Demonstrated success in fundraising from corporate donors and Foundations is essential. Field experience in development programs would be an asset. Excellent written and presentational skills in English are required together with competence in one of the other working languages of the International Federation (French, Spanish or Arabic). Analytical skills and the ability to develop sound proposals and work under pressure will also be key. Advanced computer skills, including graphics, are necessary. Candidates must be available to travel.
