The International Fundraising Congress takes place in Holland next month. It is an unrivalled gathering of mostly senior and experienced fundraisers from around the world who spend three days sharing and learning about many aspects of fundraising.

This year’s opening plenary is entitled ‘Leading the Revolution’ and is presented by Bill Toliver, Executive Director of The Matale Line. Toliver spent 20 years developing branding and communications programmes for global companies, followed by a decade helping international nonprofit organisations like UNICEF refocus their communications and strategic decision-making.

He will explain how individuals and organisations can now build movements very quickly by combining traditional and social media, and create a lasting change with much less infrastructure than would have been required even 10 years ago.

He will be joined in the plenary by Jeremy Gilley of Peace One Day, who will share his own inspirational story of bringing about change.

IFC opening and closing plenaries are usually inspiring occasions. UK Fundraising will be reporting from the event, but you can also follow the conference on Twitter at @IFCHolland and on Facebook.
