Hallmark Consumer to sell UNICEF UK cards and gifts

Howard Lake | 3 September 2012 | News

UNICEF UK has appointed specialist fulfilment company Hallmark Consumer Services to sell and fulfil its ‘New Range’. These include UNICEF UK cards and gifts, from Christmas and greetings cards, and own-branded products, to UK sourced fair trade items from brands including Nkuku and Teddykompaniet.
On its appointment as a UNICEF UK Partner, Hallmark commissioned Together Agency to design the UNICEF UK ‘New Range’ catalogue.
Hallmark’s other charity clients include BBC Children In Need, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and The Woodland Trust. It also works with companies including Mars and Visa.
The Leicestershire-based company, which specialises in fulfilment, e-commerce fulfilment services and direct mail, has also announced a record year with sales turnover rising to over £4.4 million, representing an increase of 83 percent over the three years since 2009.
UNICEF’s first greetings card was designed in 1949 by a seven-year-old Czechoslovakian girl who painted a picture of a maypole on glass.
