Bright One invites applications for pro bono PR and marketing support

Howard Lake | 10 January 2012 | News

Volunteer-run communications agency Bright One is rolling out its Bright Works microvolunteering platform so is inviting applications from charities wishing to feature their opportunities on it.
Until now the agency was working just with its clients to ensure the platform worked well for charities and volunteers. Now it is opening up the service to any interested organisations, and is inviting them to submit a project.
New functionality includes a different way of locating projects using pink dots, the facility to hide the dashboard, and some more detail in the help and FAQ sections.
Bright Works launched in June 2011 as a way of easily connecting causes with skilled volunteers. Last month the platform won third place in the Europe-wide Discover E-Volunteering competition.
Causes already using Bright Works include Afghanaid, Providence Row, and Music as Therapy International.
