Purple Vision consultants give their time for free and delegates pay a small nominal fee to cover administration costs.
The course costs £45 per person and will cover topics including:
• What is Fundraising?
• Different types of Fundraising,
• Skills required for a Fundraising role,
• How to get your first Fundraising job
Dawn Varley, Consultant at Purple Vision said: “We’ve introduced our ‘Getting Started in Fundraising’ course as a response to the success of our ‘Introduction to Raiser’s Edge’ training course. Students often contact us about training, so it’s great that we now offer the Purple Proteges Programme. We will provide a certificate at the end of each course, so it will hopefully give our protégés that extra edge when they go for a job interview.”
The ‘Getting Started in Fundraising’ course will be held on the 22 September at The RSA in London from 13.00.
‘An Introduction to the Raiser’s Edge’ training course will be held at The Hub, King’s Cross on the 2 November 2011 from 09.00.
