The EU under the Horizon programme is making nearly €180 million available for projects addressing what it describes as Europe’s societal challenge in a changing world.

The funding, open until 12 March 2020, will support 24 topics under three areas:

Migration topics include integration of recently arrived migrants, challenges for migrant children and sustainable practices for migrants. Socio-economic and cultural transformation topics include digitisation, mainstreaming innovation in schools and innovation in cultural tourism. Governance funding will support new forms of delivering public goods and inclusive public services, and enhancing access and uptake of education to reverse inequalities.
