Ruth Mantle joins Contact the Elderly as Fundraising Manager

Contact the Elderly, the charity that tackles loneliness and isolation among older people, has appointed Ruth Mantle as its new Fundraising Manager.
With over seven years experience in fundraising roles in both the UK and Asia, Mantle joins Contact the Elderly from international development charity SolarAid where she was Head of Fundraising and Marketing. During her time there, she and her team won several two awards for their corporate fundraising achievements.
At Contact the Elderly, Mantle will be focusing on developing corporate partnerships, recruiting regular donors and increasing legacy income whilst maintaining long term relationships with charitable trusts and foundations.
The charity celebrates its Golden Jubilee in 2015. Between now and then, it aims to increase the number of elderly people it helps by over 65%.
