International legacy survey opens

Howard Lake | 15 October 2010 | News

An international survey is underway to help charities better understand current developments and issues in the legacy fundraising landscape.
Open to all charitable and nonprofit sectors internationally and aimed to reach CEO’s, Fundraising and Marketing Directors, and of course legacy fundraisers and related staff, the survey should take only 15 minutes to complete. The survey has been created by Natasha van Bentum at Give Green Canada (a project at Tides Canada Initiatives) and Canada’s CharityVillage®.
The survey is a major initiative for legacy fundraising. Van Bentum has developed it in consultation with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, USA (PPPnet), Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP), European Association for Philanthropy & Giving (EAPG), and the Showcase for Fundraising Innovation and Inspiration (SOFII) UK, among others.
A final report on the results will be available in early 2011.
Those completing the survey are entered to win an Apple iPad.
