Enable Scotland, the charity for children and adults with learning disabilities, has launched a campaign to increase support to charities for people with disabilities by contrasting public donations to animal charities which receive nearly twice as much.
In the UK 11.1% of the UK population donate to animal charities, whilst only 6.6% of the UK population donate to disability charities.

Enable Scotland campaign for a socially inclusive society where people with learning disabilities are regarded and treated as full and equal citizens.
With support from FirstGroup the campaign will run on buses and trains throughout Scotland over a six week period.
