Sir Richard Branson to speak at major donor conference

Sir Richard Branson will give the keynote speach at this October’s Raising Funds from the Rich conference in London.

The entrepreneur will use his speech to offer advice to charity leaders wishing to work with business, and set out his vision for the Virgin Unite Foundation. He will also take part in a half hour questions and answers session where he will advise charities on how to make the most of their assets.

The annual event, designed by Action Planning, attracts over 1,000 delegates each year. Other speakers include Martha Lane Fox, Alec Reed, Stanley Fink, and Ram Gidoomal.

The event takes place on 14 October 2009 at the Central Hall, Westminster, in London. The delegate fee is £145.

It is run in association with ACEVO, Virgin Money Giving, CAF, Coutts & Co, New Philanthropy Capital and the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
