New logo and call to action from Remember A Charity

Remember A Charity, the consortium of over 140 charities working together to raise awareness of charitable legacies, has unveiled a new identity to support its new campaign and approach.
The logo and message “Remember a charity in your will. Help the work live on…” will be used across all media.
The new logo, made up of three yellow interlocking circles, illustrates the campaign’s aim of ‘working together to create social change’.
The new call to action highlights to charities and charity supporters alike the important role legacies play in funding charities.
The new identity was developed by Touch DDB. Unlike the previous logo, members of the campaign will be permitted to amend the campaign logo using their brand colours. They will also be able to modify the call to action, so that it reads “Remember us in your will. Help our work live on…”
Remember A Charity’s new campaign is due to launch at the end of March, and will target a range of broadcast and print media with both advertising and PR activity.
It is based on a social marketing approach that focuses on understanding and changing behaviour. The overall aim of the campaign is to make charitable giving in wills the social norm.
Stephen George, Chair of Remember A Charity, said: “Legacies are the very foundation of many of the UK’s best-known and loved charities, and by creating a fresh new look that we can all make use of we hope to increase awareness of legacy giving and more importantly by working together to grow the legacy market through changed behaviour.”
